Inspiration

I know I've posted this before, but the words of Abraham Lincoln have inspired me yet again.

I've been presented with the opportunity to put together an Alternative Medicine program at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, which is a rather daunting task, but I face up to it with happiness and with inspiration from our great former President Lincoln:

Celtic Seer

Am so happy to be spending time this week-end with Celtic Shaman and Seer, Tom Cowan. Thanks to the New York Shamanic Circle, I will be in heaven all day Saturday and Sunday, in the shaman zone! My dutzi rescue bag is packed with my drum, blanket, eye pillow, journal & pen!

Judy Garland

Am feeling nostalgic today, after having spent time with my Dad over the week-end. My Mom passed away in June, and she loved Judy Garland. So here's to you, Mom, and to Judy Garland, too. May the song of life go on for you both, wherever you may be in our grand Universe! All Love!

Dr. Oz

It was thrilling to hear that Dr. Oz had a segment on his show this week about Reiki. I will never forget being in the operating room with him when my client needed open heart surgery. It was thrilling, amazing, fantastic...and so helpful to my client, who in this circumstance, was also his patient.

Once you've seen what goes on in an operating room, it becomes very clear that having a Reiki Master present is a very big PLUS!

Dr. Oz is an inspirational person, to say the very least! Using all of his skills and talents in service to others, he is making the world a better place for all of us.
